Missions

Current Events:

2009 Week of Prayer, Nov. 29-Dec. 6.

False religions, political oppression, multiple languages, harsh living conditions and religious persecution are some of the barriers to sharing Christ with unreached people groups. Still, that doesn't override the Great Commission that Scripture gives to all who follow Him.

It is this challenge that compels Southern Baptists to go into difficult places and preach the Gospel.

Pray during Week of Prayer 2009 for these pockets of lostness:

DAY 1: Peoples of Northern India

DAY 2: Peoples of Ethiopia

DAY 3: Lezghi people of the Caucasuses

DAY 4: Berber people of North Africa

DAY 5: Vietnamese of Cambodia

DAY 6: Peoples of Iran

DAY 7: Lost cities of China

DAY 8: Peoples of the Canary Islands
