What is happening this week?
Join us for service this Sunday at 10:30am for a challenging message from the book of Ephesians.
Come on down this Saturday and help with some much needed outdoor projects. We will begin at 9am, come for the day or come for an hour. Any time you can give is much appreciated. Lunch will be served to all our helpers.
Church office will be closed on Monday, February 20th in observance of President's Day.
We are stocking the shelves for The Village Mentorship Program here in Monroe as our outreach project. Can you provide a donation of a new item(s) from the list below?
Drinks
Individually wrapped snacks
Food to make a meal (canned chicken, frozen raviolis/pastas, sauces and the like)
Prepared meals (frozen that can be heated up: chicken alfredo, cheese ravioli, pastas, and the like)
Teen rated books
Board games
Spiral notebooks
Composition notebooks
Crafting supplies
School supplies (pens, pencils, folders, note cards, felt tip pens, lined paper etc…)
Grocery gift cards
They are also looking to partner with one lady and one man to be mentors at the center. Preferably in some sort of business oriented role.

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a]38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Our council is meeting once a month on the first Sunday of each month. Here are some items we are currently working on:
John D. is looking for help with chair set-up and baptistery set-up. Please reach out to him if you need more information or can provide some help.
We need some more volunteers to step up and help with building maintenance duties. These duties are sometimes as simple as changing batteries, unplugging a toilet, painting, and sometime more complex. If you can be an on call helper please see Mike C.
We are working on a Church directory. Cindy W. is leading this project and we are excited to roll it out over the next couple of months. It will take time and effort on our membership's part to upload their own pictures and opt in to our churches app.

SAVE THE DATE: Vacation Bible School is coming this Summer. We will need many volunteers to pull-off this large community wide outreach event.
