donate to new pastor family

*No we will not be harming our new Pastor, instead we are asking everyone that can to donate a pantry type item to help them stock their pantry/home. If you can, please sign up here: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/20f0b4eabac2fa2f85-pounding Where does this "pounding" come from? "In the early 1960s, a new preacher and family received a 'pounding.' The congregation members would each give a pound of some food goods and/or home items to welcome them into the family."

Please bring your donation on Sunday, May 21st (donations item does not have to be a pound in size)

cake reception for pastor Ron Shepard

Sunday, May 14th will be Pastor Ron's last Sunday with us. We would like to say thank you to him on Sunday, May 7th with a cake reception following our service. We want to encourage EVERYONE to bring him a card of gratitude by April 30th. If you need a card to fill out, please see John or Jodi Duggan. Please give completed cards to John or Jodi as well. We can not express our gratitude as Pastor Ron has walked us through the next phase for FBC, but we can fill him up with our thanks. PS: I also here he loves oatmeal raisin cookies!

What is happening this week?

  • Join us Sunday for a message with Lawrence Fudge: "Wrong Side of the River" in the book of Joshua. We will have Children's Church for ages 0-5th grade.

  • We have some projects needing to be done around the church. Spreading some wood chips, roof cleaning, and more. Please see Mike Creasey if you can help.
