FBC Weekly News (6-24-21)

What is happening this week?

  • Join us for one of our TWO 30-minute Worship Services. We preach, we pray, we get on with our day. We will continue our series on the Passover and God's eternal plan.

  • 8:30am

  • 10:30am with Children's Church. This service we will offer Children's Church, with pre-registration, to all our 2 yr old-3rd graders. You are, of course, welcome to keep your kids with you in service or send them off to Children's Church.

  • If your kids plan to attend Children's Church this Sunday please be sure to register them here https://www.fbcmonroe.org/plan (scroll down a bit to the "pre-register" button)

  • All VBS volunteers please join us for a short informative meeting this Sunday right after second service. This will only be about 30 minutes, please meet us in Founder's Hall.

If you plan to join us for the BBQ potluck, please register by Sunday. Please join us for our Independence Day at the Cross on Sunday, July 4th. We will have a fun, relaxed service outside at 10:30am. Only one service this day and no Children's Church. Please bring a chair to sit in. To register for the BBQ potluck simply SCAN the above QR code OR click this link https://myfbc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/900074

Registration is required for the BBQ potluck fun. We will have the playground open for kids 8 yrs and younger, a bubble station, sidewalk chalk, face painting, and outdoor games. If you have an outdoor game you can bring please do!

We will kick-off our Bible Buddies Summer Reading Fun for kids 2yrs-5th grade on Sunday, July 11th. We want to encourage kids to commit to reading their Bible regularly over the Summer. The idea is that kids will read just a few verses a day to build a habit of reading God’s Word regularly. We encourage kids to read with or to their Bible Buddy each day. We hope this is a fun way to dig into God’s Word. We will have "buddies" ready for adoption on July 11th (registration required), weekly prizes for reading your verses, and an end of the Summer Fun party in September!

Register here https://myfbc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/917335.

More information to come!
