What is happening this week?
Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we continue in the book of Ephesians. This week we will dig into: Joining God in Ephesus: Unity in Love Ephesians 4:1-6.
Men be sure to join us on Saturday at 8am for our monthly breakfast and fellowship.
The church office will be closed on Monday, September 5th.
Awana volunteers be sure to join us on Wednesday, September 7th at 6:30pm for leadership training.
Become A “Prayer Buddy!”
Two of the most important reasons people come to church are to build relationships and to pray. At FBC and SonShine we have an opportunity to do both, but together in a prayer buddy program.
The goal of the “Prayer Buddy” program is to build intergenerational relationships at SonShine Preschool through prayer. Interested adults will be paired with one of our students for this coming school year. Each Prayer Buddy team will be asked to pray for one another on a regular basis and drop off cards during special times. We are looking for adults and youth who would like to be paired with one of our SonShine students so that you can pray for them and their families this coming year. Your student buddy will also be in prayer for you!
Please email the office to let Kelly know if you would like to become a prayer buddy! We need at least 30 partners this year!

Fall ministries will be kicking off THIS MONTH. Please see below when activities begin:
Children's Church during our 10:30am service will begin on September 11th. We want to invite our kids to join us for a special time just for them. Check in at our kiosk.
SonShine Preschool begins Tuesday, September 13th. Please be in prayer for all our students and families.
Youth Group will begin on Tuesday, September 13th from 7-8:30pm. All middle-high schoolers are invited to join us. Our study will be reading through the Bible in a year. Then, of course, fun game time.
Ladies Tuesday night study will begin Tuesday, September 13th at 7pm. All ladies are invited to join us.
Awana Clubs begins on Wednesday, September 14th at 6:30pm. All 3 yr olds-12th grade are encourage to join us. Registration is required at our website https://www.fbcmonroe.org/kids
Adult Discipleship Classes will begin on Sunday, September 18th at 9:15am. We will have three adult classes to choose from:
